This accessibility statement applies to https://qls.ecctis.com/.
This website is run by Ecctis. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- Change colours, contrast levels and fonts.
- View the website in both portrait and landscape orientation on mobile.
- Navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software.
- Easily bypass repetitive menu links via a skip to content link on all pages.
- Listen to most of the site using a screen reader (this was tested using NVDA screen reader on Windows and VoiceOver on iOS).
- We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.
AbilityNet (opens in a new tab) has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

Technical information about this website’s accessibility
Ecctis is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 (opens in a new tab) AA standard, due to the following non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Images and non-text content
- There are functional and informative images that do not have a text alternative or that have an inappropriate text alternative for assistive technology users. Some decorative images are not hidden from assistive technology users. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1)
Colour and contrast
- There are interactive text elements that do not meet the colour contrast ratio when receiving keyboard focus or mouse hover. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.3)
- There are interactive elements with a custom focus indicator that has insufficient contrast. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.11)
Layout and Appearance
- There is meaningful or unique content that is lost at 200% zoom. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.4)
- There is meaningful or unique functionality and content lost when the site is zoomed to 400%. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.10)
- There are text elements that do not respond when the text spacing styles are applied. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.12)
Page and content structure
- Some text is displayed visually as a heading or a list but is not marked up as such for assistive technology. Some content that is marked up as a heading or list does not act semantically as a heading or list on the page. The heading structure on some pages is inconsistent with the visual structure. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1)
Keyboard navigation
- Some interactive elements like buttons or tooltips do not receive keyboard focus or cannot be activated when navigating the page with a screen reader. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.1.1)
- Some non-interactive elements and off-screen elements receive keyboard focus. There are instances where focus is not managed appropriately when a page is dynamically updated and a few components do not receive keyboard focus in a logical order. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.4.3)
Form controls
- Some form fields do not have errors or additional information associated with the input fields. Some radio buttons are not associated with their visual group label. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1)
- The input purpose is not programmatically defined with the autocomplete attribute for some fields that collect personal information in forms. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.5)
- Some error messages have no programmatic call-to-action (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 3.3.1).
Interactive components
- There are tooltip elements which do not allow users to move their mouse pointer onto the content or cannot be dismissed without moving the mouse pointer or keyboard focus. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.13)
- Some interactive components have an accessible name that doesn’t include the visual name. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.5.3)
- Some interactive components are missing an accessible name or an interactive role. Some expandable, current, disabled and custom states are not programmatically determined and there are elements that use ARIA incorrectly or which lack appropriate ARIA mark-up. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 4.1.2)
- There are status messages and dynamically update that are not programmatically determined. (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 4.1.3)
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
We have conducted an audit with AbilityNet in June 2025. We will work with them to retest the site after suggested amendments have been made.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 1 May 2025. It was last reviewed on 28 July 2025.
This website was last tested on 16/06/2025 - 19/06/2025. The test was carried out by AbilityNet.
